Energy and Climate Change Committee's call for evidence: energy price comparison websites

Consultation response cover

Consumers have very low levels of trust in suppliers and engagement levels remain limited.

The Citizens Advice Service believes that price comparison websites are an important part of the market and provide a useful service to consumers by making it easier for them to engage in the market.

To avoid further undermining consumer confidence in the market, it is essential that price comparison websites are perceived to be providing a comprehensive, transparent and accurate service.
