Citizens Advice letter delays research

Citizens Advice is the statutory consumer advocate for postal consumers in England and Wales. Our role is to make sure postal services and post offices meet people’s needs in a way that’s fair and accessible for all. We have particular responsibilities for the interests of people at risk of disadvantage, detriment or harm. We also consider the interests of small businesses.

Citizens Advice commissioned a nationally representative weekly survey to explore the scale and consequences of letter delays across the United Kingdom.

Our weekly monitoring began in October 2022 and ended in January 2023. All research was carried out online by Yonder Data Solutions. Fieldwork dates and base sizes are listed in the attached Flourish dashboard.

You can access our data on letter delays here.
