Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives? Now is the perfect time to join Citizens Advice. As the cost of living continues to rise, individuals and families are facing unprecedented challenges, and we’re seeing record demand for our services. As a Caseworker – Benefits, Debt and Housing, you’ll work directly with those most in need, offering expert guidance, support, and practical solutions to help them navigate complex issues such as housing, benefits, debt, and employment.
If you're committed to social justice and want to be on the front lines of delivering essential support, this role offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.
In this role, you'll be central to our mission of helping those affected by the current crisis. You’ll conduct in-depth assessments of clients' situations and advocate on their behalf with local authorities and service providers. Your ability to listen with empathy, analyse challenges, and provide clear, actionable advice will empower clients to overcome obstacles and find a path forward. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities to directly improve the lives of those who need it most.
By joining Citizens Advice, you’ll become part of a team that’s dedicated to creating positive change. You’ll collaborate with passionate professionals in a supportive environment that values integrity, inclusion, and teamwork. If you’re ready to take on a role that will make a profound difference in people's lives and contribute to a greater cause, we’d love to hear from you.
The Citizens Advice service values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, as they are currently underrepresented in our workforce.
